A major Mail Order company, based in the north of England approached Orbital Response to take over the response and fulfilment of their complete range of their craft products.
Objective – Task
- To provide customer service support and order processing
- Process orders from the client website
- Pick and pack all orders
- Manage stock
Activity
Orbital handle the response from website, telephone, post and other channels. The range of goods covers over 3,000 stock items requiring some 500 pallet spaces.
Products range from sewing machines to sheets of individual decorative labels. In all over 100,000 orders are processed each year.
Result
After the first year of trading the managing director said, “I am looking forward to another year of co-operation and successful trading between our two companies. Transitions to new suppliers are always unknown territory, however, with great work on both sides we have risen to the challenge and made the integration work”.
